Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce the closing of 204 Main Street in Worcester, MA, on February 4th, 2025. The historic Kane Building will be transformed into 20 units of workforce housing and is sure to play a vital role in the continued growth of downtown Worcester. The transit-oriented development will also include an expanded ground floor retail space, bringing new economic opportunities to local businesses and entrepreneurs looking to plant their roots in the downtown community. Thank you to the City of Worcester for partnering with us on this transformative project, including City Manager Eric D. Batista and Chief Development Officer Peter Dunn. Additional thanks to the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation (MHIC) and their Healthy Neighborhoods Equity Fund (HNEF), to MassDevelopment for its Underutilized Properties Program (UPP) grant, to the Housing Development Incentive Program (HDIP) administered by the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC), and the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
