We are hiring! Walz Group is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Full Charge Bookkeeper to add to our established EasyKeep Team. This team member will provide an array of services to our clients that include bookkeeping, payroll support, QuickBooks consulting, and other services. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will interact directly with clients and maintain the firm’s standard of unparalleled service to our clients, as we help them navigate the many day-to-day financial transactions of their business. The Full Charge Bookkeeper role can be catered to meet the needs of a strong candidate who desires either full-time or part-time employment with the Firm. RESPONSIBILITIES: Skills needed: •Ability to maintain a fully adjusted general ledger. •Monthly or periodic reconciliation of general ledger accounts. •Perform accounting analysis of the client's books and records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data. •Understand and assist in the processing of payables. •Prepare and review internal financial reports for one or more companies. •Assist other areas of the firm with special projects. •Ability to learn and apply new software. QUALIFICATIONS Successful candidates will have: • Three (3) plus years of accounting experience. • Familiarity with GAAP and/or special-purpose frameworks of accounting. • Solid knowledge of QuickBooks. Thank you to Stephanie Manuel from the Donegal School District for speaking at the August Chamber Luncheon. Her heart for unhoused students was evident as she shared about the programs in place to support them and meet their needs. She also shared inspiring stories from students who received the gift cards generously donated by Chamber members and the community - your thoughtfulness made a real difference. GIANT gift cards that could be used for gas helped a student who was considering dropping out of school get to class every day - and graduate. Another student shared that it meant the world to know someone cared - and that they weren’t alone. One family was excited to receive a Hummer's Meats gift card so they could enjoy a “real hamburger.” The common thread in these stories was the students’ amazement at the kindness and generosity of people who didn’t know them — and how those gestures made them feel seen and cared for.
