We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Great American Elderverse™ program, which will be deployed into 60 senior communities across the NY/NJ/CT area! 🎉 The Elderverse provides transformative experiences that redefine aging and enhance the quality of life for those who need it most. Supported by research from Stanford University, our immersive experiences provide moments of joy, a reduction in social isolation, and help to foster cognitive health for our senior population. Today is Aged Care Employee Day 💜 Observed annually on August 7th, this day honors the incredible individuals who care for our aging population. Today—and every day—we say thank you. At Mynd Immersive, we’re proud to support caregivers through technology that uplifts both them and the people they care for. A recent study conducted by Stanford University’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab, in collaboration with Mynd Immersive and AT&T 5G Healthcare, found that immersive experiences aren’t just impactful for residents—they benefit caregivers, too. Over 80% of caregivers said they enjoyed interacting with residents more during Mynd sessions than during other activities. We'd love to share a particularly inspiring and uplifting story about the impact of Mynd Immersive in rehabilitation! 🦋 Linda, pictured here, was mostly bedbound and had little interest in participating in activities. Mynd Immersive was introduced to this patient to improve her bed mobility, trunk control/posture, and transfers with the goal of increasing time out of her room. Linda especially loved Mynd's butterfly-catching activity. "We were also able to progress her in therapy to standing which is something that she hadn't done in a long time.
