A few shots from our brand new cardiac cath lab! With this lab, we're bringing lifesaving cardiac care from coronary angioplasty and stenting to electrophysiology and device implantation back to the West Village. What does this mean for the community? Heart attack patients can be brought directly here by ambulance, avoiding long trips uptown—delivering care faster and closer to home. The cardiac cath lab strengthens our connection to the vibrant, diverse community we serve, offering accessible and compassionate care rooted in clinical excellence.

Say hello to our brand new, 8‑bed, in patient unit! 😍 This 16,000 sq ft expansion has brought full hospital level care back to the lower West Side of Manhattan for the first time since 2010. The unit now gives patients needing short term recovery from emergency visits or minimally invasive procedures to recuperate locally instead of enduring long trips uptown. That means less travel, more comfortability, and better connections to the community. The added beds aren’t just space, they represent our commitment to deliver accessible, compassionate healthcare rooted in clinical excellence and built for this neighborhood and community we love.

Our cardiac team performed its first case in the newly renovated catheterization lab! We are thrilled, honored, grateful and proud to announce this major milestone here at Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital. This patient had aortic valve surgery 20 years ago at St. Vincent’s Hospital — which is now Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital and is now the first patient to have a stent placed in the updated space. Talk about full circle.
