When women gather with intention, incredible things happen, like 40+ attendees filling Warehouse Motor Club in Park City to explore impact investing. Katie Macc, CEO of Sorenson Impact, opened with a simple question that sparked the entire evening: "How many came here to learn about impact investing?" Nearly two-thirds of the room raised their hands with enthusiasm. What followed was pure energy- women lighting up as they discovered how their investments could tackle climate change, advance healthcare, and drive social progress while generating solid returns. It has been a joy to welcome University of Utah students back to the Impact & Prosperity Epicenter! 🏫📚 The Epicenter, which opened last fall, is a multidisciplinary hub for social impact, community engagement, and enterprise. It combines residential living (for nearly 800 students!) with impact practitioners from the Institute and the Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity. As the Institute's Senior Director of Impact Measurement, Dr. Nzinga Broussard oversees, plans, and implements measurement and evaluation programs for the impact investing and impact strategy team. 💡📏 Broussard and her team recently worked with the Justice Climate Fund (JCF) to design and implement an impact measurement and management (IMM) framework.
