"Data Centres: Designing for Change" – July/August 2025 I had the privilege of participating in an exclusive RIBA Journal roundtable held in May, where I joined leading voices from across the #architecture and #engineering world to tackle one of our industry’s most complex, fast evolving challenges: designing future ready #datacentres. The discussion ranged from #AI-driven cooling systems and retrofit dilemmas to sustainable material use and the ever tightening demands of power and planning. It was a chance to share and absorb deep insight from fellow architects, engineers, and innovators, all shaping how we respond to growth, regulation, and resilience in digital infrastructure. Grateful to the RIBA Journal and Tate for hosting this session and creating space for such forward-thinking conversations.
