  • Our new 300mm wafer fab in Sherman is looking good! 🎨 Local artists brought their creativity to the site with this new mural. The design illustrates our historic growth in Sherman and symbolizes how semiconductor innovation is driving the future. This is the first of four fabs we’re building here that will manufacture millions of analog and embedded processing chips daily that will go into electronics everywhere. 🎬 Click the link in the comments to watch the full video and learn about the story behind the mural.

  • Global focus, local impact. 🌏🏡 From helping students build their confidence in science and math through coding, to providing disaster relief for families in need, TIers around the world are driving meaningful change by investing their time, skills and energy just as our company’s founders did 90 years ago. “Giving back has always been fundamental to who we are at TI,” said Andy Smith, executive director of the TI Foundation and director of TI giving and volunteering. “Our employees are touching lives in ways that will ripple for years to come.” 👉 Check out the comments section for a link to see what our passionate volunteers have been up to.

  • Do you remember the iconic Speak & Spell? This childhood toy may evoke feelings of nostalgia, but it also represents a history of innovation at TI that laid the foundation for modern day edge AI. And it began with a single chip developed by TI engineer Jack Kilby on this day in 1958. Kilby’s invention continues to inspire how we’re innovating what's next in technology, including: 🚗 Vehicles for improved safety and autonomy 🪐 Satellites for space exploration 🤖 Robotics for increased intelligence, precision and responsiveness to their surroundings Head to the comments to learn more about how building on the past has launched us forward.
