Union City, Georgia was established on August 17, 1908. Since that time, the community has continued to evolve and is known for its quiet neighborhoods and growing business districts. Our Elected Officials serve as the community’s decision-makers and consist of four(4) Council Members and one (1) Mayor. Located in the southern portion of Fulton County, Union City (UC) is an exuberating and rising City with a big heart.   • The City of Union City is proud to announce that it has been awarded the FY25 Fulton County Arts Grant, thanks to the support of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the Department of Arts and Culture. This grant will allow Union City to continue offering free art programs and community-based events, enriching the lives of our residents. This fall, Union City will host a Hispanic Heritage Food Truck Festival — a celebration designed to honor our growing Hispanic community and highlight the rich traditions, flavors, and culture that make our city stronger.   • The Union City Water & Sewer Division is currently performing repairs on a water service line in Littleton Woods subdivision. To complete this work safely, water service will be temporarily interrupted for approximately 2 hours. Only residents In the Littleton Woods subdivision will be impacted by this temporary outage.
