At UN Headquarters on Friday, António Guterres took part in the annual ringing of the Peace Bell; urging all people, everywhere to choose the path of peace. “Peace is the most powerful force for a better future. Around the globe, millions of children have returned to school in recent weeks. Yet, UN Women estimates that more than 119 million girls worldwide are out of school – depriving them of their rights and their dreams for the future. Equal access to education is a fundamental right for all.
