O-CEI joins V2G Leaders Europe 2025 as a Strategic Partner We’re proud to welcome O-CEI Horizon (Open CloudEdgeIoT Platform Uptake in Large Scale Cross-Domain Pilots) as a Strategic Partner of V2G Leaders Europe. As a Horizon Europe Innovation Action, O-CEI is developing an open Cloud-Edge-IoT platform designed for interoperability, security, and reliability, enabling seamless cross-sector data exchange in real time. By enhancing collaboration and predictive capabilities, the platform will improve energy flexibility, helping industries adapt to evolving demand. Drawing on insights from eight pilots across six domains (including V2G, Software Defined Vehicles, and Electric Grid Optimization), the O-CEI platform aims to enable chargers to operate as intelligent, bidirectional nodes. Through advanced microservices, data management, and low-latency 5G connectivity, the system will optimize grid power flow, balance loads efficiently, and reduce environmental impact. This will pave the way for real-time flexibility, trusted data sharing, and scalable V2G services across millions of chargers and vehicles.
