    In 2009, I initiated The DADvocate Project, a comprehensive initiative encompassing a survey, interviews, blog posts, and public speeches focusing on the experience of fatherhood. The project was inspired by my recognition as East Cobber Father of the Year, awarded for an article I wrote highlighting fatherhood and family as my top priorities.

    Leveraging the power of social media and online platforms, The DADvocate Project successfully surveyed approximately 500 fathers. This effort provided valuable insights into the perspectives and experiences of fathers in 2009. The findings were compiled into a detailed presentation, which I subsequently delivered at the Dad Blogging Conference in Atlanta.

    In addition to the conference presentation, the project was featured in a panel discussion on CNN, further highlighting the importance and impact Dads and the work we were doing. The DADvocate Project aimed to shed light on the evolving role of fathers and their integral contributions to family life.
