Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will join an experienced team and be responsible for processing high volume vendor payable invoices, including expense reports, and coding of invoices. Candidates with large ERP software experience are highly encouraged to apply. The Accounts Payable Specialist ideally will have experience managing a high volume fully cycle payables processing system and payment processing experience. Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Controller will be responsible for the following duties:

-Process high volume invoices for multiple properties and sites

- Manage the System for all payables including process improvement and policy review

- Code, match, batch, and processes checks and ACHs

- Posting GL journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and accruals

- Set-up new vendors within ERP System

-Process credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHs

-Process 1099s and W9s

-Resolve discrepancies with payments and vendor inquires

-Track monthly accruals and variance in vendor payments

-Manage the sales & uses tax processing
