Position Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Area Sales Manager to be the face and voice of “Snow Monkey”. In this role, you’ll promote our brand and engage with consumers, and strengthen our presence in the community through events, tastings, and social media. Your mission is to share your passion for Snow Monkey while driving brand awareness and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Field Sales
Daily field sales for defined account targets for on premise and off premise retailers.
Product presentation and sample tastings with key decision makers.
Ride-withs as needed with distributor representatives.
Event Representation
Host tastings at retail locations, bars, restaurants, and festivals.
Set up and manage event displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
Educate customers and staff about the brand, brewing process, technical attributes, and flavor profiles.
Brand Advocacy
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, bar staff, and retail employees.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the brand’s history, values, and offerings.
Represent the brand authentically on social media, sharing events and promotions.
Maintain professional appearance with company provided wearables
Maintain vehicle cleanliness to best represent the brand image
Sales Support
Drive interest and product trials to increase sales at events and retail locations.
Provide feedback from the field to help improve marketing and product strategies.
Collaborate with local sales representatives to meet regional sales goals.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of event activities, expenses, and outcomes.
Maintain daily call reports with photo documentation, point of sale display placements, and sales order results.
POS and sample inventory management
Merchandising
Build and maintain displays in off premise retail stores
Establish and maintain cold box placements
Ensure shelf talkers are in place, and work to get prominent shelf space
Survey top accounts regularly, to maintain displays and cold box, help push velocity and reorders
Requirements
Experience:
3 years of alcoholic beverage sales with local retail account knowledge.
Prior experience in promotional events, beverage tastings, and customer service.
Passion for sake and the Snow Monkey brand, with knowledge of styles, trends, and brewing processes.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Other Qualifications:
Must be 21+ years old with a valid ID.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (event setup materials and cases).
Valid TIPS Certification
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
