A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Business Risk Analyst to join its BSA/AML & OFAC Compliance team. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating fraud risk while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple banking channels.

Responsibilities: The Business Risk Analyst will be responsible for:
Performing research and analysis of account activity to identify red flags, suspicious activity, and potential fraud schemes.
Conducting in-depth investigations into fraudulent transactions, including account takeovers, identity theft, synthetic identities, and other emerging fraud typologies.
Creating and maintaining Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) focused on fraud-related activity.
Supporting branch and contact center staff in complying with established BSA/AML policies and procedures.
Executing day-to-day OFAC operations, compliance analyses, and enterprise-wide projects.
Responding to ad-hoc OFAC-related queries and providing subject matter expertise to partner business units.
Identifying, reviewing, and reporting suspicious activity across digital banking, wire transfers, and remote deposit capture channels.
Ensuring adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in fraud analysis, BSA/AML compliance, or related risk management roles.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, criminal justice, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations and industry guidance.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or similar compliance certification.
Experience with fraud detection systems and investigative tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
