Chesapeake Search Partners has been retained by a growing behavioral health organization to recruit a Director of Human Resources. This individual will oversee all aspects of traditional HR, training and development, and talent acquisition. This role closely partners with operational leaders to support performance management, workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies, ensuring staffing levels meet business needs while driving a positive workplace culture. The Director of HR plays a key role in building leadership capability, reducing turnover, and ensuring HR practices align with company goals, values, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
Serve as a strategic partner to Operations, supporting field leaders in achieving staffing and performance goals.
Oversee the talent acquisition function to ensure timely, high-quality hires across all service lines and locations.
Develops and drives KPIs for recruiting team.
Lead the company-wide performance management process, coaching leaders on goal setting, feedback, and employee development plans.
Qualifications:
Eight plus years of progressive HR leadership experience in a healthcare organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience working within PE-backed businesses.
Expertise in change management.
Proven track record of partnering with field leaders.
