Tired of being the smartest person in the strategy room with no authority to execute? This is your inflection point.

2 Hour Learning is deploying 25-30 new school campuses in six months. Buildings. Budgets. Systems. Regulatory clearances. All on deadline. We need an execution-focused Director to own one critical domain: approvals, onboarding, or finance. Full accountability. No committees. No handoffs. Just you, a mandate, and the opportunity to architect operational excellence.

We're scaling a revolutionary educational model that delivers a year of content in just two focused hours daily. Private equity-backed with funding secured. The model works. Now we need the infrastructure to match—immediately.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Take complete ownership of one domain within our national launch strategy: regulatory approvals, onboarding + systems, or financial operations
  • Lead cross-functional execution with full decision authority and corresponding accountability
  • Develop and implement scalable playbooks in real-time while navigating complex operational challenges
  • Collaborate directly with founders and key stakeholders to deliver launch-ready infrastructure
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to maximize operational efficiency and accelerate execution timelines

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Providing recommendations without implementation responsibility—this is an execution-focused role
  • Navigating bureaucratic approval chains—you'll have direct access to decision-makers
  • Managing isolated projects—you'll orchestrate parallel initiatives across multiple geographies
  • Waiting for direction—you'll establish clarity in ambiguous situations
  • Escalating difficult decisions—you'll own the outcomes of your judgment calls

Director Of Operational Excellence Key Responsibilities

Drive the successful delivery of one core operational pillar for 2HL's national school launch—with speed, precision, and scalability—transforming strategic vision into operational reality across 25-30 new campuses.

Basic Requirements

We're seeking exceptional operational leaders across multiple verticals. All positions demand speed, clarity, structured thinking, and relentless execution.

Successful Candidates Will Possess

  • Minimum 3 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operations in high-pressure, ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional capability in at least one domain: regulatory navigation, onboarding systems, or financial operations at scale
  • Structured approach to problem-solving with strong bias toward action—capable of independent execution
  • U.S. work authorization and availability to travel approximately 1 week per month
  • Proficiency with AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency and accelerate deliverables
