Director of Operations

Our client company is scaling next-generation HVAC power saving retrofit solutions that deliver sub-1 year ROI and significant carbon savings. They are seeking a Director of Operations to lead teams, manage large commercial building installation projects, and support our partnerships with important market Enterprises and leading HVAC/AC companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale HVAC operations across high-rise and commercial projects.
• Support technical teams (installers, engineers, project managers).
• Support distribution leaders to integrate AirFidelity into new and retrofit HVAC projects.
• Oversee project planning, Coordination and execution to ensure installation process, timeline, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Maximize efficiency and rebate opportunities with utilities (Con Edison, Pepco, DOE).

Requirement

• 8 years or above in HVAC operations, with 3+ in leadership.
• Expertise in commercial HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and large-scale retrofits.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Business acumen: project budgets, contracts, vendor/partner coordination.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field (ASHRAE ctrify Master’s preferred).
