Master Builder Wanted: Scale a School Revolution Across America
While others talk about educational transformation, you'll be building it. 2 Hour Learning is launching 25-30 campuses in six months, and we need an exceptional Head of Facilities Management to orchestrate this ambitious expansion. This isn't about maintaining buildings—it's about creating the physical foundation for an educational model that's redefining how students learn.
Our schools deliver a year of content in just two focused hours daily, freeing students to pursue passions and projects. With private equity backing and proven results, we're scaling rapidly. This role demands someone who transforms vision into reality—who builds systems, not decks; who delivers results, not recommendations.
What You Will Be Doing
Spearhead the facilities component of our national expansion strategy, ensuring 25-30 campuses are launch-ready on schedule
Exercise full decision authority over building selection, renovation planning, and facilities compliance
Develop scalable systems and playbooks for rapid, consistent campus deployment
Collaborate directly with founders and functional leaders to align facilities with educational delivery needs
Leverage AI and automation to streamline facilities management and accelerate implementation
What You Won’t Be Doing
Producing strategic recommendations without implementing them
Navigating bureaucratic approval chains—you have direct access to decision-makers
Managing routine maintenance of existing properties—your focus is expansion and establishment
Waiting for perfect information—you'll make confident decisions with available data
Overseeing single-location projects—you'll coordinate parallel implementations across multiple markets
Head Of Facilities Management Key Responsibilities
Establish and execute the facilities infrastructure that enables 2 Hour Learning's rapid national expansion, ensuring each new campus meets our exacting standards for educational delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Basic Requirements
This role demands exceptional execution skills and strategic thinking to drive our ambitious expansion plan.
You Must Bring
Minimum 3 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
Demonstrated success managing complex operations in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Exceptional capabilities in facilities management, property acquisition/development, or large-scale project implementation
Structured approach to problem-solving with bias toward decisive action and measurable results
U.S. work authorization with capacity to travel approximately 1 week monthly
Proficiency with AI tools to optimize workflows and accelerate implementation timelines
