Role
As a Systems Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to perform system administration for the virtual infrastructure. In this role, a typical day will include:
Analyzing the existing Virtual infrastructure and developing an adaptable and scalable design to meet the needs of the mission customer, and
Implement cross domain solutions that support requirements of varying complexity in addition to planning and managing the coordinated effort of a team of different stakeholder’s information technology to include personnel from different organizations with competing interests.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 16 years related experience.
Technical Skills
Linux platform, SNMP, Nagios, Splunk, SolarWinds, patching and maintaining server build, software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
Work independently; and manage multiple task assignments
Ability to facilitate discussion among people with differing backgrounds and opinions and lead to consensus
High-level knowledge of Cloud Computing
