We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy outpatient community mental health clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and positive attitude to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our diverse client population. You will play a vital role in supporting our nurses and medical providers while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for clients, including individuals with chronic mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, or autism.
Position Responsibilities:
Measure and record vital signs.
Complete prior authorizations for medications.
Handle clients’ telephone calls and messages promptly.
Check prescription monitoring systems (e.g., MassPAT) for providers.
Provide additional support for the Outpatient Division Medication Clinic as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED, Associate degree preferred.
Current Medical Assistant Certification a plus.
Excellent computer skills; Accurate computer entries.
Communication skills (verbal and written); bilingual in English / Spanish a plus.

Pay Details: $19-$21/hr
$19/hr: No Medical Assistant Certification:
$21/hr: Active Medical Assistant Certification:
Base pay $19/hr + $2 differential for certification
