Responsibilities And Duties
Manage a personal patient panel with diverse healthcare needs, including dual diagnosis and comorbidities often linked with substance abuse.
Provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on family medicine and primary care.
Utilize EMR system eClinicalWorks for charting and managing patient records efficiently.
Handle at least 20 patient visits per day, maintaining high-quality care standards.
Prescribe and manage pain medication responsibly, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and patient safety.
Engage with community health initiatives to serve under-served populations effectively.
Additional Information
Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS)
Board certification in Family Medicine required.
Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license for Connecticut.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience necessary, with specific experience in community health settings.
