We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in New Haven, CT. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with chronic pain. Job duties include performing injections, so experience doing those types of procedures is a plus. Must have experience as an NP and be able to work independently in CT. Our primary office location is in New Haven, but the incoming NP may be asked to provide coverage at our offices in Middletown or Waterbury, CT occasionally.

Duties:
Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
Order and review tests/labs
Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
Manage patient care
Treatments- trigger point and injections under US guidance
Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely and accurate
Collaboration with the team and senior providers as needed for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
NP license in CT
Minimum of 2+ years’ clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferred
Experience with trigger point and joint injections preferred
Spanish speaking a plus but not required
Schedule:
Full time (4-day work week)
Compensation:
$160k-$190k (DOE) plus potential bonus compensation
