Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role requiring deep analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a strong understanding of GAAP principles. The ideal candidate can operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally to support SafeRide’s mission of improving access to care for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilitie

• sLead monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with GAA
• PManage and reconcile monthly customer billing and payment
• sOversee prepaid expense schedules and prepare monthly amortization entrie
• sRecord and reconcile corporate credit card activit
• ySupport billing process reconciliation between SafeRide’s front-end system and vendor payment
• sPrepare and maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations and workpaper
• sAssist in annual external financial audit
• sAssist in periodic state and health plan audit
• sHelp maintain accounting policies and internal control
• sSupport ad hoc accounting projects and cross-functional initiative
