As an Traveling Painter, you will paint large industrial signage for commercial businesses using spray guns, airbrushes, stencils and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have to be comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment and have knowledge of painting materials and techniques.
Determine painting requirements by studying specifications
Mask areas not to be painted
Mix components to produce the desired color according to specifications
Complete painting by adjusting spray guns, airbrushes, stencils, and manual equipment
Maintain equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions
Complete preventive maintenance requirements and schedules
Maintains safe conditions by following guidelines and procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals and waste
Must be able to travel up to 4 weeks at a time
High school diploma, GED or Associate’s Degree.
One year related experience
Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
Ability to withstand environmental conditions of working in warehouse
Ability to multi-task while staying organized.
Ability to work independently
Able to work within changing environment and manage time
