Urgent Care - New Grad - Physician Assistant (PA)

Your Impact includes providing patient-centered care by conducting health assessments, physical exams, and reviewing medical histories; assessing patient health through interviews and examinations; determining abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results; performing therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management; educating and counseling patients on health, therapeutic regimens, growth, development, family planning, and wellness; documentation and compliance by preparing accurate medical records and adhering to infection-control policies; collaborating with a team of healthcare practitioners to treat patients efficiently; and continuing education to maintain professional knowledge. Requirements include a Master's degree and certification by PA or NP certifying body, DEA license with no restrictions, BLS certification, preferred clinical experience in emergency or urgent care, excellent teamwork and communication skills, compassion, technical proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office, and strong knowledge of customer service principles, relevant laws and regulations, drugs, patient care aids, and medical evaluation and treatment procedures.
