Animal Hospital of Linden is seeking a Hospital Manager to help shape the next chapter of our clinic — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to build, develop, and lead with both heart and strategy.
This team needs a leader who can bring clarity, consistency, and calm. You’ll have the freedom to create systems that make sense, the backing of a supportive district team, and the chance to influence how this hospital operates — not just today, but for the long haul.
What You'll Do
Managing the financial reporting of the business, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, budgeting, income reconciliation, credit and banking
Inventory management including process flow and control
Managing patient medical records and ensuring the highest quality of accuracy
Responsible for managing the interviewing and hiring of needed staff members
Providing training for new hires
Scheduling needs for staff and doctors
Promotes and helps ensure a patient centered environment
Facilitates resolutions for client problems that cannot be resolved by doctors or staff
Be a cultural driver — helping to build a workplace rooted in accountability, collaboration, and care
Step in as the go-to problem solver for client concerns and team conflicts
Serve as a liaison between the hospital and the local community — including charity initiatives, outreach, and events
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long period
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relevant education and work experience
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable but not required
Customer service attitude
Someone who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and can bring calm to chaos
Excellent organizational skills including the ability multitask and prioritize
Professional and positive attitude that is people oriented with good interpersonal skills
Strong communication and organizational skills, with a knack for building team culture
Tech-savvy with comfort using modern PIMS systems, scheduling tools, and digital workflows
A growth mindset — willing to ask hard questions and help others develop their own leadership
