Position Overview

The VP of Control & Accounting serves as a strategic financial partner to the CFO and other members of the executive leadership team. PPHC is a dynamic and growing company with a public listing in the UK and preparing for a second listing in the US. As we expand our presence in the public markets, we are seeking a highly skilled VP of Financial Reporting & SEC Reporting to lead our financial disclosure efforts and ensure compliance with SEC, UK regulatory, and US GAAP requirements.


The VP of Control & Accounting will be responsible for overseeing core financial control functions, strengthening our public company financial infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and international reporting standards.


The role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution: someone who can design scalable processes and systems while rolling up their sleeves to deliver results in a dynamic, high-growth environment.


As a Vice President, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Control & Accounting team, ensuring excellence in day-to-day financial operations.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee financial operations, including billing, AR, AP, T&E, revenue recognition, monthly close, reconciliations.
  • Oversee communication and expectation management with Member Company’s on financial matters.
  • Lead equity accounting and sharecount reporting.
  • Own the company’s financial control environment, including internal controls, SOX readiness, and financial risk management.
  • Oversee documentation of processes. Drive financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee financial consolidation across multiple subsidiaries and geographies.
  • Drive technical accounting, in conjunction with our external accounting partner.
  • Drive timely and accurate preparation of financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
  • Support reviews/audits by PPHC’s external auditors
  • Manage banking and treasury relationships, including cash management, FX management, financial derivatives, debt compliance, and capital structure support.
  • Drive tax planning and compliance
  • Coordinate with international advisers, auditors, and tax experts to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to support a scalable global finance function.
  • Drive integration of new acquisitions (domestic and international)
  • Partner with the CFO and peers (M&A, FP&A, External Reporting) to support corporate strategy, capital markets activity, and investor-facing deliverables.


To be successful, you will need:

  • 10–15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including significant tenure at a U.S. public company.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX/internal controls, and technical accounting.
  • Strong track record of leading finance teams through periods of growth, transformation, or public company readiness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and geographies, managing internal teams and external advisers.
  • Upbeat, collaborative personality with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality; thrives in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, auditors, regulators, and the board.
  • CPA or equivalent qualification; Big 4/public accounting background a plus.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 based on experience.
