⚠️ Equipment control = fewer surprises on site ⚠️ Our routine: a 3–5 minute morning check plus regular calibration. Checklist (3 steps): 1. Setup & geometry: stable tripod, level, centered. 2. Health check: total station (compensator + quick EDM — distance measurement), GNSS (RTK fix, PDOP within limits), level/laser (check on a benchmark). 3. Validation: measure a control point; if out of tolerance, send for service/calibration. Calibrations: ❗ total station/level: every 6–12 months ❗ GNSS: firmware update + test every 3 months ❗ scanner/laser: every 12 months Result: stable tolerances and less downtime.
