What you are seeing here is a simulation of a water flow meter, the unit will consist of a PIC microconntroller (PIC18LF2685), a DS1307 and a SIM800L a The DS1307 will provide us with day, daye and time. The microcontroller will use PIN6 (RA4) and Timer0 to calculate pulses from the flow meter, these pulses will be generated each time the flow meter spins, using these pulses we can work out the number of litres consumed over a certtain period of time, the SIM800L will then send the entire data to a remote server at exactly 23:59:59 every night.
