Manually entering shelf label information into a Point of Sale (POS) system to validate product prices can be time-consuming and error prone. Here's a blog: https://lnkd.in/dpdppBV8 I wrote that presents a workflow that enables store employees to simply take a photo of a shelf, after which the workflow automatically validates the shelf labels against the POS database on a server, streamlining the entire process. Check it out. I used Roboflow Workflows to build my solution, which essentially saved me a lot of hours by removing the need to rewrite logic for cropping and similar tasks.

One thing I love about connecting systems is enabling process automation, which drives increased sales. This is our guiding principle at Solved Systems: streamlining operations by minimizing intermediaries. Our Shopify and Microsoft Business Central integration allows customers to sync their e-commerce and POS system sales with warehousing, inventory, and shipping in real time. At their inaugural event, Laguna Palooza, it was critical for them to process orders as quickly as possible via Shopify POS, accepting any payment type. We thoroughly tested this system, processing 412 orders and generating over $70,000 in revenue before Business Central needed to manage customer overflow. With Shopify POS, they processed 412 orders—triple the number handled by Business Central POS. This resulted in significant efficiency gains.
