🚀 As the hype wave around AI starts to settle, the real challenge is staying focused when adding new technologies to your stack. HBR points out something obvious yet often overlooked: AI (or any tech) should always connect back to the most fundamental goal of business – solving problems for customers. The way to avoid distraction is to: 1️⃣ See this AI moment in the broader arc of transformation. 2️⃣ Focus on how AI can better serve customers. 3️⃣ Experiment with a narrow set of use cases (with an eye toward scaling). 4️⃣ Scale up with a Ninja team. While the article spotlights AI, the general principles apply to any new discipline: ✨ Understand tech’s role in the larger org. ✨ Stay customer-first. ✨ Test before rollout. ✨ Scale with intention. It may not transform your business overnight, however it will improve your chances of success. What are your thoughts? Have you had similar experiences? I have been reading articles and posts on LinkedIn about attention in the context of AI, and sometimes the best is to revisit classic work. We may have thought about those things before. I remember an article by Thomas H. Davenport and John C. Beck title “The Attention Economy”. The article is from 2001 and here is how I translate today’s rush to implement digital technology initiatives, particularly generative AI. The true bottleneck today isn’t computing power or smart algorithms, but our ability to focus and harness attention. When teams chase every AI trend, attention becomes fragmented, wasting the very resource that drives deep understanding and breakthrough results. What would happen if, instead of scattering energy across dozens of pilots, organizations channeled their best attention into just a few strategic, high-impact AI goals? Focusing attention is the key to sustained innovation, higher performance, and transformative change. If we treat attention—our own and our teams’—as a finite currency, what AI projects deserve full investment? What’s the cost of ignoring attention in our digital strategies? #AttentionEconomy #GenerativeAI #Focus #AILeadership #DigitalTransformation

🚀 AI didn’t just appear overnight. It has a fascinating history, a fast-moving present, and a future full of predictions worth exploring. Sometimes it’s worth pausing to look back— Where did Artificial Intelligence really begin? How far have we come? And most importantly, where are we headed next? I put together a Global AI Timeline—a reflection on the breakthroughs that shaped our present and the bold predictions for what’s to come. ➡️ Instead of scrolling through slides or sitting in yet another presentation, I recorded a 6-minute podcast-style video that tells the story in a simple, flowing way. This isn’t just for AI experts. Even if you don’t come from a technical background, this timeline is designed to spark curiosity, reflection, and maybe even inspiration about how AI is reshaping our world. What’s the one AI moment (past or future) that fascinates you the most? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear your perspective! #LearningTogether #Inspiration #Curiosity #KeepExploring #FutureOfWork #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #TechnologyTrends #GlobalTrends

AI will keep getting smarter. Faster. More efficient. AI is giving us back time. Time we once lost to repetition. To tasks that drained us. To work that kept us busy, but not fulfilled. The gift of AI is not just efficiency. It is space. Space to breathe. Space to imagine. Space to invest in what only humans can do. Because machines can execute. But they cannot feel. They cannot love. They cannot create meaning. That is our role: To turn time into connections. To turn efficiency into empathy. To turn progress into purpose. The real future is not about doing more. It’s about BEING more. More human. More collective. More together.

AI has rapidly come on the scene and it's compounding effects are so challenging to keep up with. Personally I started using it last year for help with minor task and organizing ideas. Now, it's become a daily use tool for greater efficiency. Its wild to think about the generations coming up behind us, and where we will be with AI in just a few short years. The massive AI wave is coming! 🌊 One thing I've observed lately is that the human MUST always be at the center of AI use. While AI does create and design at scales unthinkable just a few years ago, it lacks the critical elements which Humans bring to the solution. This is why Im so pumped we decided to get ahead of that wave by combining both the critical human skills and AI tech together. Check it out! 🚀 Become Irreplaceably Human in the Digital Age In a world accelerating toward digital dominance, it's not just technical know-how that will set you apart—it’s the ability to lead with human ingenuity, purpose, and grit. That’s the power of Dale Carnegie’s and Matt Britton’s new course Human By Design. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gdiYyVZy

I read Reuters’ OECD-backed study: AI gaps are widening between rich nations and SMEs globally. I believe SEA founders can leapfrog by starting simple: local language, cultural nuance, real tasks. If you want to shrink the gap, what local insight are you building into your product next?

AI is not here to make humans irrelevant. It’s here to expose who refuses to adapt. The difference between the person who thrives and the one who gets replaced is not intelligence, but willingness to learn, to test, to execute faster than the rest.
