#AI in Inspection and Corrosion Management Asset Integrity Management can not be imagined without Inspection Data collection. The collection of this data needs physical and manual efforts. Such work also involves process and personal safety such as work at height or work in confined spaces and also weather related issues such as heat index. ARISE has increased its focus on improving the efficiency and accuracy of Inspection data thru new probes which are connected by cellular and wireless networks. These probes are delivered with added software which can assist in real time monitoring and classification of risks thru color codes - red, green and orange. REAL TIME MONITORING has become a proactive tool in detecting and resolving corrosion issues before the asset reach at the stage of FFS evaluations. Our new Corrosion Under Insulation detection probes are easy to install and can give real time data for your pipelines. Please DM us for more details.

#DIGITAL SENSORS FOR CORROSION UNDER INSULATION (CUI) More than 80% of material of construction used in industry is ferrous steels such as carbon steels and stainless steels. Metals being good conductor of heat, we have to insulate them for either gain or loss of heat in cold and hot insulated pipelines respectively. Along with hot and cold insulations done for heat conservation, other issues such as personal safety, idling of assets, intermittent usage of assets and cyclic operations also lead to CUI. Inspection Engineers and Plant Inspectors have struggled a lot in deciding how much insulation to be removed and where. Due to cost and time pressures, such decisions become difficult for Integrity Engineers too. Lately, AI and Digital Sensors have come to rescue in corrosion detection, modelling and real time monitoring. These sensors are connected with mobile networks and equipped with software having interactive dashboards. This proactive detection with screening focused areas is becoming easier. ARISE has now announced the JV with its EU partner to launch this tool. The tool can be easily installed with negligible removal of insulation and sensor batteries are long lasting. No need for searching for CUI signatures. All locations will be displayed live with real time classification in red, green and yellow categories. The tool an save almost 30% of inspection cost and avoid safety exposure of inspection teams. https://lnkd.in/d3TZpiH4

⚙️ In-line Inspection (ILI): The Backbone of Pipeline Integrity Management With aging pipeline infrastructure and increasing regulatory requirements, ILI has become indispensable for ensuring pipeline reliability and safe operations. Modern ILI tools (MFL, UT, EMAT, and XYZ mapping) provide high-resolution data to detect and characterize: 🔹 Metal loss due to internal/external corrosion 🔹 Axial and circumferential cracks 🔹 Geometric deformations (dents, ovalities, buckles) 🔹 Seam/weld anomalies and hard spots The integration of ILI data with GIS and integrity management software enables: ✅ Advanced fitness-for-service assessments ✅ Risk-based inspection planning ✅ Life extension strategies for critical assets ✅ Optimization of maintenance costs while meeting regulatory compliance As operators strive toward zero-leak targets, the role of ILI has shifted from being purely diagnostic to becoming a predictive and strategic decision-making tool in asset integrity

🔹 Planning vs. Strategy in Static Equipment Integrity 🔹 In Asset Integrity Management, we often use planning and strategy interchangeably — but they are not the same. ✅ Strategy defines the “what and why” – the long-term approach to keep static equipment safe, reliable, and compliant. It answers: -What degradation mechanisms are credible? -What risk levels are acceptable? -What inspection methodologies best support reliability and compliance? ✅ Planning is the “how and when” – the tactical execution that turns strategy into action. It answers: -When will inspections be scheduled? -What resources, tools, or technologies are needed? -How do we optimize intervals, outages, and deferrals? 🔍 In simple terms: Strategy is the blueprint for integrity. Planning is the execution that ensures the blueprint works in the field. Balancing both is key. A strong strategy without planning remains theoretical; perfect planning without strategy risks being reactive. The real value in static equipment integrity comes when both work hand-in-hand — driving reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. #AssetIntegrity #StaticEquipment #Inspection #Reliability #Maintenance #OilAndGas #IntegrityManagement #Corrosion #RBI #Safety

Unplanned downtime, expensive repairs, full asset replacement... That can easily be the price you pay if you rely solely on visual inspection and NDT to assess structural integrity. I am not saying NDT is obsolete. Not at all actually. But with today's pressure on uptime and maximizing asset lifetime, you do want to take the calculated risk of running your assets as long as possible. And to do that, relying only on inspection methods like visual checks and NDT is simply not enough. Why you ask? Because they are - Periodic, leaving you blind in between inspections - Resource heavy, finding the right personnel can be both expensive and challenging - Subjective, and requires technician interpretation - Associated with extensive downtime, due to time required to prepare the surface, enabling access and ensuring - Limited in terms of insight, it's challenging to inspect sub-surface fatigue if you don't know where to look What is needed today is continuous visibility and you can easily ensure that by combining your existing inspection methods with sensor-based monitoring. This can really empower your maintenance and asset planning, know what to repair and replace and when instead of acting only on subjective and limited insights. What do you think? Do you agree or have a different view about ensuring continuous visibility and assessing structural integrity?

ILI inspection, or in-line inspection, uses specialized tools called "smart pigs" to travel inside pipelines and detect anomalies like corrosion, cracks, and deformation without shutting down the pipeline. These non-destructive methods are crucial for pipeline safety and integrity, especially in the oil and gas industry, allowing for early detection of potential failures and proactive maintenance planning. Various technologies, including magnetic flux leakage (MFL) and ultrasonic testing (UT), are used by these smart pigs to gather data on the pipe's internal condition. After collecting internal data & Preparing Pipetally, effected Joints issued by ISU for marking and repairing. Operation & inspection Team decide as per Metal Loss % Corrosion. There requires seleeve or Rappig or Coating. Moral: Our Aim & Focus to Provide the correct joints Locations calculation by Pipatally data for Marking which are always successful with zero Mistake.
