HES International, a bulk storage and handling company that operates terminals across #Europe, has completed the second phase of its Port of Gdynia bulk terminal upgrade at Slaskie Quay, establishing a #grain handling and storage facility with a total capacity of 240,000 tonnes. Following the successful opening of Warehouse No. 32 in May — a flat grain storage facility with a capacity of 64,000 tonnes — HES Gdynia now has commissioned three new grain silos with a combined storage capacity of 21,000 tonnes. We’ve just wrapped up a complex project: delivering from #Germany🇩🇪 and #China oversized brewery equipment for a plant expansion in #Paraguay🇵🇾 . The main components: 14 brewery tanks, with unit weights of up to 42 tons and dimensions of 23.2 x 7.30 x 8.80 meters: picture two city buses back-to-back, and nearly as tall as a three-story building. 💪 🌊 The tanks sailed out of Shanghai, China to Montevideo, #Uruguay - after being discharged directly onto barge a 1,075 km river journey up the Río Paraná and Río Paraguay started navigating through shifting water levels. On top of that, due to the exceptional dimensions of the tanks, the barges were discharged very close to the jobsite, significantly shortening the transport route via public roads and minimizing major civil works. 🙏 A big thank you to G2 Ocean for managing the ocean legs and to Cifob Logistics for their excellent support on the ground once cargo arrived in #Montevideo. #SouthAmerica always tests experience and local knowledge. The team welcomed the vessel Sellar Aragvi on July 25th carrying 2,500mts of #potash. Installed on the 30,000 dwt barge Grisel N, the CombiFlexiport CF1000 integrates a pneumatic ship-unloader, commercial bulk scale, and shiploader into one mobile platform, enabling full loading of Panamax vessels even in low-draught conditions.
