This summer, CableLabs hosted our latest PON Interop·Labs event in Louisville, CO, bringing together OLT and ONU suppliers to test interoperability against the I02 version of the Cable OpenOMCI specification. Highlights: ✔️ Largest number of OLT suppliers to date ✔️ Expanded test cases, including ONU time sync + optical power levels ✔️ Continuous improvement cycle — suppliers resolving past issues while uncovering new opportunities for alignment These events are building a stronger, more diverse XGS-PON ecosystem by ensuring devices from different suppliers work seamlessly together.
