One voltage surge can stop everything. The right protection keeps you running. Whether you control a process with a computer, a process control system, a PLC, or a field device, a surge protector can eliminate or reduce the risk of damage to sensitive electronics caused by transient overvoltage. Control systems are smart. Protecting them should be smarter. When and which surge protector to use – is a question with multiple possible answers, application/installation dependent. The scope? Plug. Protect. Perform. The most important? Know what and where to search for. In our post, we outline three P+F surge protection solutions—for signal lines, for supply lines, as well as for Fieldbus and Ethernet-APL applications. A starting point, since surge protection isn’t one-size-fits-all—it is application-specific, and each of the groups shown includes a number of different devices.

Timer relay is basically a control device, which is used to turn on or off the circuit according to the specified time. Today we will talk about the widely used on-delay timer, On Delay Timer is the timer relay, which does not change the contact immediately after powering on. Rather, it counts the specific time (Delay Time), then changes the contact and turns on the circuit. There are 2 types of contacts available on its base NO (Normally Open) contacts → close after a certain amount of time. NC (Normally Closed) contacts open after → specified time. Use: 1. In the motor starting sequence 2.Lighting Control 3. Protection circuit 4.Star-Delta Starter

𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥. 🔥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 get dirty over time. The dirt makes them more sensitive — and suddenly, you’ve got false alarms disrupting your building. But here’s the game-changer: ✨ Modern analog smoke detectors come with drift compensation — a feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity as the device gets dirty. This means fewer false alarms and a more reliable system. 👉 Choose analog smoke detectors with drift compensation for high-traffic buildings. 👉 Regularly review if your system’s technology is outdated — many older detectors don’t have this feature. 👉 Pair technology with maintenance: drift compensation helps, but cleaning still matters. The right technology ensures it only goes off when it truly matters. Would you upgrade your system for this feature — or keep relying on older detectors? 👇 #FireSafety #PropertyManagers #FalseAlarm #FireProtectionPhilippines #BuildingManagement

A UPS system should be protected from more than just power disruptions - it also needs ingress protection (IP20) to keep out solid objects that could impact performance. Vertiv™Trinergy™ was tested in our Reliability lab to ensure nothing larger than 12.5 mm can enter its enclosure, validating its safety and long-term reliability.
