This is a real vulnerability.   Software-defined Defence (SDD) enables European armed forces to adapt their own systems at speed. Sovereignty is maintained while full interoperability with allies is preserved. In an era of rapidly evolving drone and cyber threats, this independence is critical.   🎥 At DSEI UK 2025, Sven T. Heursch outlines how #SDD safeguards digital sovereignty for European defence.   🔗 Explore the full interview on the HENSOLDT website at https://lnkd.in/eSK6J_bs   #SoftwareDefinedDefence #DigitalSovereignty #DefenceTechnology #EuropeanDefence #detectandprotect

Service is the most important factor in a solution. It ensures the hardware is maintained and the software is up-to-date and secure. It also provides the gatekeeping for Privileged Access. More importantly, it may take 6 months to build and configure a solution but this likely to be operational for a decade (or more). Therefore it is critical to design the service as part of the solution to optimise Total Cost of Ownership. Service is so often added as an afterthought, how do we remedy this?
