What's holding you back as a video creator? I'm willing to bet it isn't anythign technical: the techniques, the effects, the complexity of your edit. Chances are it's the messaging itself. The script. What are you actually trying to say? All the visuals, all the sounds in your video are ultimately in service of communication. Transmitting an idea from you to your audience. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can start making massive improvements to your videos.

That era is over. The videos that win today? They’re raw. Direct. Sometimes even ugly. But they say something. 💡 It’s not about fancy cuts, transitions, or flashy effects. It’s about: 👉 Saying what matters. 👉 Saying it clearly. 👉 Saying it in a way that sticks. If your video doesn’t hook, help, or hit within 5 seconds… No amount of After Effects will save it. Stop editing to impress. Start editing to express. Use your edits to simplify—not distract. To clarify—not confuse. To add value—not noise. Your message is the main event. Make sure it lands. 🎯 #contentcreation #videomarketing #reelstrategy #creatorcommunity #growyourgram

Your video is getting clicks, but people don’t stay long. ⏳ That means your watch time is low — and YouTube doesn’t like that. Here are 3 simple editing tricks to instantly boost watch time: 🎬 1. Strong Hook in First 10 Seconds Start with a question, bold statement, or quick preview of what’s coming. If the intro drags, viewers drop. 🎬 2. Cut Out the Fluff Remove unnecessary pauses, “umm” moments, or off-topic lines. Fast-paced videos keep attention. 🎬 3. Add Pattern Interrupts Switch camera angles, use text pop-ups, sound effects, or B-roll. This keeps the video visually interesting and prevents boredom. 👉 Even small editing changes can help you keep viewers watching 50–80% longer. 💬 Which of these tricks will you try in your next video? #YouTubeTips #VideoEditing #ContentStrategy #YouTubeGrowth #CreatorEconomy #DigitalMarketing #VideoMarketing

Flop videos? Stop posting them. In a world of short attention spans, your old "sit-and-talk" style won't cut it. The game has changed. You need to master narrative layering: using visual breaks, micro-stories, and curiosity gaps to hook viewers and keep them watching. This isn't optional; it's the difference between a video that flops and one that forces someone to stay. I've learned this the hard way, and I'll be sharing everything I've learned in this series. Follow along if you're ready to stop posting videos no one finishes. #contentcreation #videoediting #socialmediamarketing

Most videos lose 50% of viewers in the first 3 seconds. And it has nothing to do with the algorithm. It’s the edit. Here’s one hack that works every single time: 👉 Cut your intro in half. If your opener is 8 seconds, make it 4. If it’s 4 seconds, make it 2. Viewers don’t owe you their attention — you have to earn it fast. Trim the fat, lead with impact, and hook before their thumb scrolls. Because the truth is: Your audience isn’t watching your video. They’re watching their feed. And the feed only rewards speed, surprise, and clarity. So ask yourself: Can someone understand why they should keep watching in under 2 seconds? If not, you’ve already lost them. Chaos shadows creation — and in editing, speed is how you cut through the chaos. #VideoEditing #ContentStrategy #ShortformVideo #SocialMediaGrowth #AttentionEconomy

The best in the short-form video game knows it takes a couple of things to succeed. And no, none of them is a professional studio or the most expensive camera you can find. The first step is actually daring to press record even when every cell in your body tells you "this will be bad". Once you pass that, you can take the next ones. The 3 things I recommend working on? All listed in the video below ↴ (my longest LinkedIn video ever!) __________________________ Hey, I’m Elin from Sweden 👋 I turn founders into thought leaders with video content
