The best in the short-form video game knows it takes a couple of things to succeed. And no, none of them is a professional studio or the most expensive camera you can find. The first step is actually daring to press record even when every cell in your body tells you "this will be bad". Once you pass that, you can take the next ones. The 3 things I recommend working on? All listed in the video below ↴ (my longest LinkedIn video ever!) __________________________ Hey, I’m Elin from Sweden 👋 I turn founders into thought leaders with video content
The more you record, the better you get. It's that simple.
I really like your video.
Practice is key. When I go back and look at my old ones, I cringe. Reps get results. Keep at it.
My early videos (2017-18) make me cringe soooo hard. They’re literally unbearable to me. But hundreds of thousands of people still watched them, so it just goes to show that we are always our own harshest critics. You’re gonna feel awkward and stupid most likely, just press record and publish anyway.
After you get your feet underneath yourself a little bit, a professional studio does really rock, though. Quality is obviously cherry, but the experience is pretty neat, too!
That first one, mindset, is so important because without it, it will keep you stuck for months and months.

1moThanks for sharing these important reminders, Elin. Practise is important to refining technique and delivery. I've found re-watching my recordings to pick up on non-verbals was also helpful.
