Your hook is the single most important part of your video. Why? Because people decide in the first 3 seconds whether they’ll keep watching or scroll away. A strong hook isn’t just a catchy line—it’s the promise of value, entertainment, or insight that makes someone stop what they’re doing and give you their attention. Without it, even the best video will get skipped. With it, you can turn a simple idea into content that keeps people hooked all the way through.

Actual hack that works: Show your personality in your UGC video and make it a scroll stopper. A strong hook will make people want to see more of the video. A funny personality video will get more shares. ➝ More saves (people want to come back to your style, not just the product). ➝ More trust (brands see the person behind the content, not just another creator). Anyone can do a hook. You’re the only one that can do it your way.

What's holding you back as a video creator? I'm willing to bet it isn't anythign technical: the techniques, the effects, the complexity of your edit. Chances are it's the messaging itself. The script. What are you actually trying to say? All the visuals, all the sounds in your video are ultimately in service of communication. Transmitting an idea from you to your audience. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can start making massive improvements to your videos.

"What does a content producer do?" I made a video about it 👇 https://lnkd.in/e6XV5b5t But if you prefer reading, here's a few things I handle: • Auditing existing YouTube and social channels • Ideating new content formats that ACTUALLY work • Finding and managing skilled editors to produce optimised content • Sourcing guests for podcasts and shows • Working with talent to maximise their personality when filming • Managing channels including uploads, thumbnail and title strategy, and more • Producing and managing live shows • Creating growth strategies across all platforms • MUCH more It’s a lot but this is what keeps shows fresh, consistent, and growing. If you’re looking for someone to bring this kind of structure to your content and see results — let’s connect.

Ever wondered what actually makes people stop scrolling? That’s where CODIFYING CREATIVE comes in 👀 A series where I’ll break down the psychology behind what makes content ACTUALLY work in feed - and how to turn that into practical tools for production Part one starts with SEPP: 👉 Surprising 👉 Emotional 👉 Primal 👉 Personal Not a rigid formula, but a framework you can use to pressure-test your hooks The more boxes you tick, the harder it is to scroll past Which principle do you find hardest to nail in your own creative? 👇 #video #videoproduction #film #filmproduction #creativeagency #socialmedia #socialcontent #contentmarketing #advertising #NUSASTUDIOS

I learned more from making 2 YouTube videos than watching 100s of “how to grow on YouTube” tutorials. Here are 10 raw insights 👇 1. Be different - editing, topic, or production. 2. Focus on one core audience. 3. Early on: optimize for new viewers. 4. You’re a director - treat it like a film. 5. YouTube = long-term reward vs short-form’s sugar rush. 6. Don’t copy short-form. A YT video = a mini-movie. 7. Forget “4/month.” Nail your genre first. 8. Titles + ideas + style > volume. 9. Systems later. Fundamentals first. 10. Each video = a brick in your foundation. If you’re a founder or creator building on YouTube, don’t just chase consistency. Chase clarity + direction. That’s what compounds into growth. 🚀

Every UGC video is a silent reminder that everyone is a creator. It’s not about having the best gear, or perfect lighting… It’s about capturing a moment that speaks your truth, and trusting that your story matters. #ugc #storytelling #agency #videoproduction

Not every video is smooth sailing 🤦🏼♂️ Sometimes it takes multiple tries, and sometimes the words just don’t come out the way you want. But that’s part of the process, and it’s exactly why I hit record anyway. In my latest video, I open up about the reality behind making content, why it matters, and how it pays off in ways you might not expect. Watch the video, then drop a comment below: - Have you ever struggled to get your message across on camera? - What keeps you going when it doesn’t come out right the first time? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts guys 👍🏻
