Across the globe, countries are investing billions to transform infrastructure, but delivering on such ambitious plans requires more than funding. It demands smarter, faster, and more resilient execution. Global Senior Director of Performance at Bentley Systems shares how construction technology has evolved from digitising documents to digitising decisions, bringing AI, generative design, and predictive maintenance into real-time project workflows. 📖 Read the full interview: https://bit.ly/4lUFeim #MatrixNZ #InfrastructureInnovation #AI #DigitalTwin #SmartDelivery #BentleySystems #DigitalTransformation #ResilientInfrastructure #EngineeringTech

AI is no longer a future promise in construction, it’s a present reality. From agentic AI assistants and digital twins to predictive maintenance and real-time risk monitoring, AI is transforming how infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained. It’s cutting downtime, reducing overruns, and amplifying human expertise, without replacing it. We believe this shift mirrors what mega-projects need most: data discipline and human-AI synergy. At Dupless, our platforms already integrate cost clarity, anomaly detection, and change control, so teams can harness AI’s speed while keeping human judgment at the center. #AIinConstruction #Infrastructure #DigitalTwins #ProjectControls #CostClarity #DuplessInsights #news #Today #Construction

AI use in construction has surged from 15% to 75% in just two years. That’s not a trend, it’s a transformation. But here’s the real point: adoption alone doesn’t build trust. Just as with BIM, the value of AI isn’t in the algorithms, it’s in how openly data is shared, how responsibly it’s applied, and whether it strengthens collaboration rather than deepens silos. Firms that treat AI as more than compliance or efficiency gain a reputational edge. They signal transparency, foresight, and a commitment to delivering smarter outcomes. The question now isn’t if AI will reshape construction, but whether it will do so in a way that earns trust across the supply chain. What safeguards should we be building into this AI shift to ensure it creates credibility, not just capability? #AI #ConstructionInnovation #DigitalConstruction #TrustBuilding #ReputationManagement #AEC #FutureOfWork Written from my academic and professional perspective.
