You can have the best simulation model in the world - but if your inputs are off, your results will be too. At bpmd we often see this when companies try to build a business case using process simulation. They’re modelling steps without really knowing: → How long tasks take → What each resource costs → Where work gets stuck The simulation runs... but the picture it paints isn’t real. It looks good on slides - but it doesn’t hold up in operations. The insight? Fix your data first. Then simulate. Only with accurate data can you turn a process simulation into a credible case for automation, system change, or rollout. 🌟 #5S is not only for the physical world – it’s also for your business processes 🌟 When most people hear #5S, they think of clean factory floors, organized workstations, and visual order in the physical workplace. But the same principles can be applied beyond the shop floor – into your business processes. 📌 Why? Because waste, inefficiency, and hidden complexity don’t just live in machines or tools – they often live in our workflows, approvals, and communication channels.
