Instagram rolled out three updates yesterday that will shift the game for brands. They make the platform feel more human again and give your audience new ways to move your content. Reposts are now built in. If you post something great, it doesn’t have to fade after 48 hours. People can now reshare public Reels and posts with credit straight to their profile. That’s free distribution you didn’t have to buy. Friends tab in Reels. A feed showing what people you follow have liked, commented on or reposted. Every bit of engagement now has the potential to put your content in front of someone new who trusts the person who interacted with it. Instagram Map. An opt-in feature that lets friends see your last active location and explore local Reels, Stories and Notes from that place. For local businesses, events and destinations, this is native discovery happening right where decisions get made. The play is simple: make content so good people want to repost it without you asking. Tie your stories to real moments and places your audience would share with friends in person. And treat every like or comment as the start of a ripple that can carry your work far beyond your own feed. #instagramupdate #socialmediastrategy #contentmarketing #brandgrowth #socialproof #repoststrategy #digitalmarketing

Instagram just quietly dropped a feature that could change everything for brand exposure. 👀 The new repost button is officially rolling out, and if you're a brand, this is huge news for your shareability. For years, Instagram made sharing content way harder than other platforms. People had to screenshot, repost to stories, or use third-party apps. Now? One-click reposts are changing the entire dynamic. 🔁 What this means for your brand: Your content now has the potential to spread organically in ways Instagram never allowed before. User-generated content becomes even more powerful when audiences can easily amplify your brand with their followers. But here's the catch... Not all content is repost-worthy. You need to create posts that people actually want to share with their own audiences. That's why developing a content strategy that not only aligns with your business goals, but also with what your audience what's to see is of utmost importance! 🔥 #InstagramUpdates #InstagramMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #ContentMarketing #UserGeneratedContent

🚨 Instagram Algorithm Updates You Need to Know in 2025 🚨 Instagram is changing the game again this year, and if you’re a brand, creator, or marketer these updates are worth paying attention to: ✨ Original Content Wins – Reposted or recycled content is being pushed down. The algorithm is rewarding creators who bring something fresh to the platform. ⏱ Retention > Reach – The first 3 seconds of your content matter more than ever. If people stick around, your reach grows. 📩 DMs Drive Discovery – Instagram confirmed that DMs are now one of the strongest signals of interest. If people share your content in private chats, the algorithm boosts it. 📊 Saves & Shares Beat Likes - Likes are nice, but saves, shares, and meaningful interactions are the new gold. 🌀 New Features Like “Blend” - Users can now share and experience each other’s Reels feed in DMs, making your algorithmic personality social. 🔍 SEO on Instagram – Keywords in your bio, captions, and hashtags are becoming more powerful for discoverability. 👉 What this means: The algorithm is rewarding authentic storytelling, strong hooks, and genuine engagement. If your audience feels connected enough to save it, share it, or DM it your content will fly. Are you adjusting your 2025 content strategy to these shifts? #InstagramUpdates #SocialMediaStrategy #DigitalMarketing #ContentMarketing

Content won't magically recover reach once you take a hiatus... 💬 Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, officially confirmed that taking extended breaks from posting (1-2 months) directly impacts your reach on this platform. This means, for businesses relying on organic reach, your content strategy needs to prioritise sustainability over sporadic bursts of activity. Instagram's algorithm, and many other social media algorithms, prioritise accounts that regularly add value to the platform. When you disappear for months, you're essentially telling the algorithm you're not an active brand, making them less likely to share your content with their users. But, with that being said, this doesn't mean posting for the sake of posting ❌ 🍃 Quality beats quantity every time. If your posts add no value to your audience, they're as impactful as not posting at all when it comes to genuine engagement. At Beech Web Services Limited, we always tell our clients it's better to post one valuable piece of content weekly than to flood feeds with filler content daily, then disappear. If this sounds overwhelming, think about the last blog post you added to your website, or a YouTube video going into detail on your products or services. How have you used this content on social media? 💡 Repurposing is a quicker, often simpler way of generating valuable, engaging content without the worry of generating new ideas. You can then also use scheduling tools to get ahead with this content and maintain that consistency, even during your busiest periods. Your audience follows you for value, not volume. Being consistent should serve your community, not just the algorithm. What's your biggest challenge with staying consistent on social media? Let me know 👇 P.S. This post is in place of a tangent today about Taylor Swift's new album announcement (already pre-ordered), so I hope you find these tips useful ❤️🔥 #SocialMediaMarketing #SocialMediaManagement #SocialMediaTips #InstagramUpdates #SocialMediaUpdates #ContentCreators

Posting Reels daily? You might be hurting your Instagram growth, not helping it. Reels are Instagram’s growth engine right now but like any engine, running it the wrong way can burn it out. I often get asked - How often should I post Reels for the best results? The answer might surprise you, → 3–5 Reels per week Works best for most brands. → Posting too little Low visibility and momentum. → Posting too much without a plan Audience fatigue + lower quality content. The goal isn’t just frequency, it’s consistency and value. What Matters More Than Frequency 1. Content Quality A reel that sparks emotion, solves a problem, or entertains beats a flood of mediocre posts. 2. Audience Insights Post when your followers are most active. 3. Storytelling Your first 3 seconds decide if someone stays or scrolls. 4. Variety Mix trends, educational tips, behind-the-scenes, and brand stories. 5. Engagement Reply to comments & DMs, it tells Instagram your content is worth showing more. Brands that win on Instagram aren’t just posting more, they’re posting smarter. A content strategy that balances creativity, timing, and storytelling will outperform random high-frequency posting every time. If your Reels aren’t driving reach, engagement, or leads, let’s talk. I’ll help you build a content rhythm that works for your audience and business goals. #InstagramMarketing #ReelsStrategy #SocialMediaGrowth #JSRDigiMarketing #ContentThatConverts #SocialMediaMarketing

Instagram just rolled out new features — and they’re getting mixed reviews. 🔁 The wins: Reposts: Instagram’s new Repost button (à la TikTok) makes it easier for users to share content they love — and for your content to be reshared. Reposts show up in followers’ feeds and live on a dedicated tab, giving your brand more chances to be discovered organically. Bonus: original creators and brands are credited, so visibility = value. Friends Feed: Think of it as the old activity feed, but for Reels. This new tab shows the public content your friends are liking and commenting on which is great news for brands and creators looking for extra eyeballs! 📍 The concern: Map: The new Map feature allows users to share their real-time location with followers — and many are reporting that it turned on by default. While this feature is designed for discovery and local engagement, privacy concerns dominate the conversation. At EGC, we’re tracking these updates closely to help clients adapt. Not every new feature is a fit but knowing what to lean into is how brands stay ahead. Let’s talk about how this impacts your content strategy: https://lnkd.in/eSV_CHKM

Brands: Instagram and TikTok keep saying the quiet part out loud when it comes to how your videos should be edited. Align your short-form video structure to what Instagram and TikTok want out of their users. That's time spent on the platform. For them, it's more time spent = more paid ads seen. Nail your hooks. Build for retention as much as possible. Time spent with your content is also an optimal outcome for your brand. Retention is a far better metric to measure content impact than engagement. Also a great signal for lower funnel activity potential. When the platforms spill the tea, drink up. #organicsocial #videomarketing

You’re creating high-quality content… but barely anyone sees it. Here’s the truth: Content quality alone isn’t enough anymore. Instagram’s algorithm doesn’t just reward effort. It rewards optimization. Most creators are missing crucial settings that block their reach — even when their reels are 🔥. If you're stuck, here's your fix: 🛠 These 5 account settings can unlock visibility and push your content to more of the right people: Website Embed: Turn it ON via Settings → Activity → Sharing & Reuse Account Status: 4 green ticks = clean record = more trust from Instagram Search Engine Visibility: Enable this in Privacy Settings — it helps new people find you Crosspost Reels to Facebook: Double your discovery with one click Desktop Tip: Edit Profile → Enable “Show Account Suggestions” These small switches lead to big changes in reach, growth, and conversions. 👉 If you're serious about turning your followers into clients — make these updates today. 🔁 Share this with a fellow creator who needs more eyes on their content. #instagram #instagramtips #instagramgrowth #instagramalgorithm #viralreel

Decoding the Instagram Algorithm in 2025 Instagram isn’t just a photo app anymore—it’s a discovery engine. But the question remains: How do you make the algorithm work for you? Here’s what matters most today: Relevance over Reach – Instagram shows content based on user interests, not just followers. That’s why niche-focused content wins. Engagement Signals – Saves, shares, comments, and even how long someone hovers on your post—all tell Instagram it’s worth showing to more people. Consistency Across Formats – Reels, carousels, and stories are all ranking differently, but posting a mix builds stronger visibility. Relationships & DMs – The algorithm favors content from people you engage with most (likes, replies, shares). That’s why community-building is key. Originality Matters – Instagram now pushes original content over reposts. If you’re reusing trends, add your unique spin. The takeaway? Instagram’s algorithm is designed to match content with the right audience. If you focus on creating content that sparks conversation, saves, and shares, growth follows naturally. In simple words: The more your audience interacts, the more Instagram distributes your content. Which format do you think performs best right now—Reels, Stories, or Carousels? #InstagramMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #DigitalMarketing #LinkedIn #rahilkhan
