Highlights from the Dallas Consensus: Key Takeaways The Dallas Consensus recently outlined standardized approaches for FLIP panometry interpretation in esophageal motility disorders. A few key agreements stood out: --A major motor disorder is unlikely if FLIP panometry is normal (94% agreement). --Diminished or absent contractile response, along with reduced esophageal opening, supports the possibility of outflow obstruction (94% agreement). --FLIP findings should always be integrated with other diagnostic tests and clinical presentation (100% agreement). Consensus documents like this don’t just shape practice; they create a shared language between physicians, researchers, and industry partners who all want to improve patient care. #DallasConsensus #EsophagealDiagnostics #MedicalTechnology #PatientsFirst #MedtronicEmployee

While much progress has been made in diagnosing developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), UCB research presented at #IEC shows that a high unmet need remains for adults in remote residential care settings. Primary care physicians or general neurologists tend to focus on seizure and medication management and may overlook holistic issues, which can be a barrier to diagnostic referral. UCB’s Beatriz Rodriguez Solis outlines how broadening our understanding of DEEs to #MoreThanSeizures can provide holistic care. https://lnkd.in/gd4Pt6Et

Dr. @YevheniiaPoliakova sits down with Dr. John Croushorn to discuss her groundbreaking study on the AAJT-S in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage—offering powerful insights grounded in both clinical research and real-world experience. And yes—there’s someone else in the room. A presence that speaks volumes. More soon. The quickest way to diagnose scoliosis is with an X-ray, often following a posture evaluation or positive Adams test. While early diagnosis is critical, it’s only meaningful if it’s followed by early treatment. Waiting to see if the curve worsens can result in more severe progression and invasive options down the line. In children especially, early diagnosis combined with early treatment can significantly alter the trajectory of scoliosis progression. This is why proactive evaluation and timely intervention are so important in clinical practice. #ScoliosisAwareness #SpineHealth #ChiropracticCare #Xray #AdamsTest #PostureCheck #BackHealth #ChiropracticTips #EarlyDiagnosis #ScoliosisSupport
