Transcript

So one of the first questions is what kind of drew you from the national labs into the wind power and wind turbines and from that kind of research and policy into renewables? Yeah. So I mean, I, I guess I've. Have a father who has been working on wind turbines his entire professional career so when I was born he was out in California installing and maintaining some of the original wind farms and so it's been a little bit in my blood working at the national lab was fantastic because. While I have, you know, economics and policy background that really exposed me to a lot of. Incredibly smart pH D level engineering and physics researchers that are pushing the boundaries in wind energy and that kind of basis of experience which is really techno commercial in nature gave a very good sense of how to push the innovation aspects of wind in different system applications with how to build out markets, develop markets, interface with governments, policymakers etcetera and have. The realistic view about what is possible and, and how to build a real industry. So very blessed for that background and, and I think for the transition from a national lab and a research environment into an industry environment was simply a a desire to make a, you know, more direct impact. You spend a lot of time writing reports and, and doing excellent research and informing policymakers. But when you get to work with a technology company like principal Power. You're really in in the mix on all these different projects and and trying to solve the problems that are really going to to. I guess shape the industry hands on. So it's been a great pleasure. So I guess the jumping into the technology now for people that don't know why don't you give a little bit of a background about how principal, principal power operates and the wind flow turbines and things like that?
