Here's the uncomfortable truth about differentiation: "Do you think your 20% win rate is actually pretty good?" Most SaaS companies do. They benchmark against industry averages. They celebrate beating 15%. They don't realize they're losing 80% of deals because prospects see no real difference between vendors. So they pick based on who's cheaper. Who has the nicer demo. Whose salesperson followed up faster. You didn't lose to better technology. You lost to "they're all the same, so we'll take the cheapest."
