AI agents now generate quotes by collecting key data, guide applicants step by step through underwriting, generate certificates, and support first notice of loss (FNOL) processes. Notably, right now they can replace 30–40% of the repetitive questions that underwriters and CSRs field each day. Ongoing work includes building API integrations with policy administration systems, so brokers can check customer status or handle payments directly. I really enjoyed covering this webinar on the future of insurance and the real-world application of #AI and #MarketplaceModels. What stood out most was how quickly the gap is closing between traditional processes and digitally native, consumer-driven solutions. Mishaya Chettiar, Co-Founder and Executive Head of Everything.Insure, explored how digital marketplaces are already enabling end-to-end client journeys that simplify product comparisons, streamline onboarding and integrate advice with fulfilment. “Marketplaces solve three major problems: accessibility, pricing and effort,” she said. And AI is elevating every insurance function. Chettiar described how their customer-facing AI Agent, Eve, can be trained on a new product in under 30 seconds. In similar fashion, decades of human expertise are now being embedded into AI agents that specialise in pricing, underwriting and every insurance function imaginable. “As a client answers questions, our underwriting agent can decide whether a policy can be bound online or not, and even generate the exact wording that needs to appear on the schedule based on a client's specific profile or risk rating,” Chettiar said.
