🔌 Passenger Electric Vehicles: Single Plug, Single Standard It has long been one of the greatest frustrations for passenger EV drivers – multiple charging types, varying compatibility, and uncertainty on the side of the road. That’s about to change. Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS), standardized now as SAE J3400, is quickly becoming the industry standard for passenger EVs. As more automakers and networks adopt the system, the industry is moving closer to true interoperability. ✅ Single universal plug → trouble-free charging on any network ✅ Streamlined infrastructure → faster, easier rollouts ✅ Improved user experience → enhanced confidence and greater convenience when driving This is crucial to accelerating EV adoption. When refueling is comparable to charging, passenger EVs can scale seamlessly. 🚗⚡ Confusion about charging is being swapped with charging confidence for motorists.

New research from reveals that EV drivers use just 12.6% of their car's range daily, with most electric vehicles averaging only 40.9 miles of driving per day despite having 350-375 mile ranges. This data suggests the automotive industry's "range arms race" may be creating expensive solutions to problems that don't actually exist for most drivers. The findings could reshape how we think about EV battery sizing and costs. https://lnkd.in/eCND_frU #ElecVulum #EV #infrastructure
