Current And Upcoming EVs With Solid-State Batteries The transition to electric vehicles is gaining momentum, but current lithium-ion batteries still come with trade-offs, cost, charging speed, energy density, and longevity. That's where solid-state batteries step in, often called the “holy grail” of battery tech. 📌Higher energy density 📌Faster charging 📌Improved safety 📌Smaller/lighter packs While challenges in manufacturing at scale remain, automakers and battery companies around the world are heavily investing in this next-gen tech. According to BloombergNEF, solid-state batteries may account for 10% of global EV and battery storage demand by 2035. Who’s Leading the Charge? China currently leads the global race, holding 83% of existing or planned solid-state battery capacity. Companies like NIO and SAIC already have semi-solid-state EVs on the road. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Stellantis are actively testing solid-state solutions. Toyota, Panasonic, and Idemitsu hold the most patents and are quietly developing advanced prototypes. The first premium EVs with solid-state batteries could hit roads by the end of this decade. While the West is still in the R&D phase, semi-solid-state EVs are already a reality in Asia, hinting at what's to come globally. If you're watching the future of mobility and battery tech, solid-state batteries are one of the most exciting developments to follow.

Ford’s $5B EV investment—and that rumored $30K electric pickup—signal the whole auto industry’s move from 450V to 900V systems for faster charging, lighter EVs, and better efficiency. But there’s a hitch: today’s standard capacitor films just can’t handle 900V+ under real-world heat and stress, risking delays and higher costs. Peak Nano is solving this with our new nanolayered LDF film, made in Ohio. It’s designed to support 900V+ at temperatures up to 145°C, and is built to support next-generation EV scalablity. As 900V becomes the new normal (look at Ford, Tesla, BYD), new materials are critical—and we’re ready to supply what’s next. Want to know how Peak Nano is breaking the bottleneck for the future of EVs? Our team can share why 900V matters and how we’re powering the transition. #EVs #Innovation #MadeInUSA https://lnkd.in/eAubsHE7

ACCELERATING EV ADOPTION IN 2025 BY ELIMINATING PLUG-IN CHARGING "Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower" ~ Steve Jobs University of Ottawa developed, Siemens supported EV Regenerative Acceleration is a novel technology that now allows all EVs to recharge their battery while accelerating and coasting, unlike traditional regenerative braking which only recharges the battery during deceleration. This innovation reverses the regenerative braking process, significantly increases EV driving range while eliminating reliance on external charging. How it works: https://lnkd.in/eky_2V7z Traditional Regenerative Braking: When an EV slows down or brakes, the electric motor acts as a generator, converting kinetic energy into electrical energy and feeding it back into the battery while simultaneously performing Negative Work at infinite efficiency via a Counter Electromagnetic Torque. EV Regenerative Acceleration: Instead of decelerating, the motor's generator action is used to perform Positive Work at infinite efficiency producing a Complementary Electromagnetic Torque that assists in accelerating the vehicle while simultaneously charging the battery. Key Component: A crucial aspect of Regenerative Acceleration is the introduction of a "Load Current Time Delay" in the generator operation, which effectively reverses the conventional EV regenerative braking paradigm. ReGenX: One specific implementation of this technology is called ReGenX (EV Regenerative Acceleration), developed by Thane Heins Energy Inc. This technology utilizes a novel generator design to produce acceleration rather than deceleration when charging the battery. Benefits: Increased EV Range: By continuously recharging the battery during acceleration and deceleration, regenerative acceleration can significantly extend the driving range of an EV, eliminating EV plug-in recharging. Eliminated EV Charging Needs: With the ability to generate power while driving, EVs can eliminate external charging infrastructure, making them more convenient and practical. Enhanced Performance: EV Regenerative Acceleration can improve overall vehicle performance and efficiency. Potential for Reduced Battery Size: Because the battery can be recharged continuously, EVs can now utilize 80% smaller, lighter, and less expensive batteries. In summary, EV Regenerative Acceleration offers a promising avenue for improving the efficiency and practicality of electric vehicles by enabling them to recharge their batteries during acceleration, completely revolutionizing the EV and ICE Vehicle landscapes. CANADIAN INVENTED University of Ottawa RESEARCHED EV REGENERATIVE ACCELERATION INNOVATION ELIMINATES: 1) 80% OF EV BATTERY REQUIREMENTS, 2) 80% OF EV BATTERY COST, 3) >50% OF EV MANUFACTURING AND PURCHASE COST, 4) 100% OF EV RANGE ANXIETY, 5) 100% OF LITHIUM & COBALT, 6) 100% OF EV BATTERY FIRES, 7) 100% OF EV PLUG-IN RECHARGING REQUIREMENTS.
