Two Six Technologies was recently awarded a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for the Provably Weird Network Deployment and Detection (PWND2) program. PWND2 focuses on developing the next generation of covert, hard-to-detect communication systems known as “weird networks.” Unlike traditional networks, weird networks are unconventional, stealthy, and designed to blend seamlessly into everyday civilian signals. They use hidden data channels to conceal activity, resist disruption from electronic warfare, and enable secure and deniable communications for sensitive military and intelligence missions. These systems are about protecting information and also about disguising the very fact that communication is happening at all. We’re proud to join fellow awardees RTX, STR, Stealth Software Technologies, Inc., and SRI on this cutting-edge effort. At Two Six, our mission is to deliver innovation with real-world impact, and PWND2 is an exciting opportunity to continue supporting the nation’s most critical defense and intelligence needs. https://lnkd.in/dPRXVsUK

At the DefenseML conference, Dr. Danny Bickson from Visual Layer will be speaking about how they manage to organize the massive amounts of visual data that flow into security systems. In an era of content overload (video, images, etc.), it's not easy to understand and categorize what's happening in every frame and determine which data is truly important. Danny will be discussing several very interesting case studies they've worked on recently, the technology they've developed, and their collaboration with defense agencies. As quantum computers approach the capability to break classical encryption systems, the digital infrastructure of the maritime sector is moving toward a critical risk threshold. The table in the visual I prepared outlines the key vulnerable areas and potential risks in the post-quantum era. These risks are no longer just technical concerns; they pose a serious threat to the continuity of operations, national security, and the stability of global trade. As the quantum storm draws near, the maritime sector must strengthen its course. Because this time, losing direction could affect not only ships but also the very foundation of global security and commerce. Cross Domain is not a buzzword or a trend, it’s a necessity. Without secure movement of data between domains, mission tempo slows, allies can’t interoperate, and risk increases. Too often, Cross Domain solutions are rigid and limiting. 4Secure does things differently. Our software-led, hardware-reinforced approach gives defence organisations flexibility and control. We're scalable, sovereign, and proven in the most demanding environments. At DSEI UK we’ll be showing how this approach turns secure information-sharing into real operational advantage.

The sheer amount of critical infrastructure that protects our lives & safety is stunning and the staff managing that infrastructure is fighting an ever-changing set of risks. With that in mind, this summer we join WaterISAC. We joined WaterISAC because state-sponsored attacks are getting more sophisticated. Unlike traditional attackers, these adversaries optimize for chaos and disruption in civilian systems. With Keystrike blocking lateral movement, what used to begin as a single compromised workstation and end with a critical outage can now begin and end on that workstation.
