Two Six Technologies wins DARPA contract for PWND2 program

Two Six Technologies was recently awarded a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for the Provably Weird Network Deployment and Detection (PWND2) program. PWND2 focuses on developing the next generation of covert, hard-to-detect communication systems known as “weird networks.” Unlike traditional networks, weird networks are unconventional, stealthy, and designed to blend seamlessly into everyday civilian signals. They use hidden data channels to conceal activity, resist disruption from electronic warfare, and enable secure and deniable communications for sensitive military and intelligence missions. These systems are about protecting information and also about disguising the very fact that communication is happening at all. We’re proud to join fellow awardees RTX, STR, Stealth Software Technologies, Inc., and SRI on this cutting-edge effort. At Two Six, our mission is to deliver innovation with real-world impact, and PWND2 is an exciting opportunity to continue supporting the nation’s most critical defense and intelligence needs. https://lnkd.in/dPRXVsUK
