Most companies still treat learning as a one-time event. They schedule a session, do the training, and check it off the list. But this old way of thinking slows things down instead of helping. It’s time to move past this outdated model. Right now, L&D tasks like getting approvals, setting up sessions, and tracking progress take a lot of time and effort. They often don’t connect with the tools people actually use. By using AI and automation, we can cut out the admin work and let L&D become a smarter, more helpful part of the business. Imagine if L&D wasn’t just a separate department, but part of daily work. AI could suggest learning content, create videos or links, and tailor training to each person in real time. Learning would happen as part of the job, not outside of it. This isn’t just about doing training better—it’s about changing how we grow talent at work. If L&D is built into the systems we already use, powered by AI, it becomes a key part of how companies grow. Are we ready to make learning a core part of the business, or will we keep using outdated training methods? #LND #AIDrivenLND #WorkforceDevelopment #Automation #OrganizationalDesign #FutureofWork

C-Suite: We are going to give every employee access to #AI. We will get immediate returns on productivity and revenue! Employee trying their best: (see video) 📺 These are the fatal mistakes I see with AI implementations right now 1. Experimentation will always equal results: 🛫 Experimentation is GREAT. However, gains and mistakes need to be crosspollinated, silos broken. Do not punish the fails and be realistic, not punitive about KPI wobbles 2. Unclear goals and direction: 🛫Communicate which tools are implemented and for what purpose. Instead of panicking about privacy and risk (we know, we know), what is doable in your environment and how to match these against goals 3. Leave it to L&D 🛫This is a complete overhaul of SOPs and workflows need to be reimagined. Throwing it over the fence for #LearningAndDevelopment to source prompting courses is not the answer. Collaborate with all aspects of the business so #Learning can do what they do best without guessing (we are tired) 4. Speaking of which, sheep-dip programmes (🐑🐑 baa-baa) 🛫Throwing every employee through a three-hour intro to AI course is not a plan. Laser focus on who needs to do what and when and how. Reverse engineer from that (and if you need to invest in EdTech with hyper-personalisation and segmentation capabilities, let the moths out of the wallet 💸and do it yesterday) 5. Analog Leadership 🛫Transformation is not just for the underlings. C-Suite should be au fait with #AI beyond just drafting emails. It is back-to-school for everyone, even if you go first class #EdTech #LearningTechnology #LearningTechnologies (I could not find the original source of this video, however, I applaud the woman who followed her instincts)

The point on "Analog Leadership" resonates deeply. In my experience, the most successful projects were always those where C-Suite leaders didn't just sponsor the change, but actively participated in it. Transformation is a team sport, and effective change management is the game plan. You can't delegate it to a single department; you have to coach the entire organization through the process.

L&D doesn’t need to ‘own’ Pull learning. I believe that AI will rewriting the rules of workplace learning: 🔽 Push learning → Core topics, compliance, fundamentals. That’s L&D’s role. 🔼 Pull learning → Contextual, just-in-time, business-driven. That’s where the business knows best. So why does it still feel broken? 👉 Because employees still don’t have the tools to find, create, and apply micro-learning in the flow of work. When that gap finally closes: A. L&D doubles down on building the foundation. B. The business owns its learning needs. C. Employees learn at the speed of work. This isn’t reducing L&D’s role. It’s amplifying it. Do you agree that L&D should focus on Push, while Pull belongs to the business? #businessDrivenLearning #LearnInTheFlow #EdTech #FutureOfLearning #LearningAndDevelopment

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. Some need to revisit the basics, while others are ready to accelerate into advanced skills. That’s where AI steps in. Instead of one-size-fits-all courses, AI builds personalized learning journeys that: Adapt to each learner’s pace and performance Reroute when business priorities change Recommend the most relevant, high-impact content Accelerate growth without wasted time or effort The result? Training that’s not just smarter, but also faster and more effective - delivering outcomes that align with both employee aspirations and business goals. Smarter journeys. Faster outcomes. Stronger teams. That’s the Apposite advantage. #appositelearningsolutions #learningjourney #learninggps #AIinlearning

If You Could Only Choose Five: What’s in Your 2025 L&D Tech Stack? What are the absolute must-haves in Learning & Development if you had to limit yourself to five tools? That’s the tough question I decided to tackle—not because there’s one perfect answer, but because it’s the kind of thought experiment that sparks real discussion, lifts the signal above the noise, and gets L&D pros thinking about how we work (and why). Let’s face it: The right stack is always evolving. New tools drop monthly, AI upends old workflows, and every workplace has different needs and constraints. But narrowing down to just five forces you to focus on the tech that truly delivers—across creation, collaboration, analytics, and impact. So, in the spirit of healthy debate (and with the help of industry surveys and frontline L&D experience), I’ve put together my “If I could only have five” list for 2025. Each tool here plays a unique role; together they form a cohesive stack that supports modern, data-informed, engaging learning. Disagree? Awesome. That’s the whole point. I want to hear your top picks—and what you’d swap out or add. Drop your essentials in the comments and let’s see where our stacks align, and where they spark some new thinking! A recent MIT study reports that 95% of companies see zero ROI from internal AI pilots, with financial impact evaporating in brittle workflows and misaligned processes. That doesn't mean AI is useless. It means most of us are using it like a shiny new hammer instead of embedding it into actual work. The folks winning are those who push tools into back-office automation, not the next marketing vanity project. In education, it may look like: · Smart scheduling and enrollment forecasting. · Automating grading analytics, so instructors get time back for mentoring, not monotonous marking. When ROI actually shows up, it's because institutions worked the puzzle - not just bought the box. 👉 Is your institution focusing AI on real outcomes - or just chasing buzz? #AIForImpact #HigherEducation #ProcessDrivenLeadership #AIInBusiness #FutureReadyWorkforce

🚀 Investing My Weekend in the Future of AI This weekend, I dedicated 16 hours to a 2-day Generative AI Masterclass by Outskill — and it was one of the most rewarding learning experiences I’ve had recently. Rather than just theory, the sessions gave me practical exposure to AI tools that can directly enhance productivity and creativity at work. Here are a few key takeaways: 🔹 Markdown Prompting – mastering effective prompts, because the quality of input defines the value of output. 🔹 Humanic – AI-powered email campaigning & marketing automation. 🔹 Numerous.AI – simplifying and optimizing workflows in Excel & Google Sheets. 🔹 Chronicle – creating impactful AI-driven presentations with data and storytelling. What stood out to me the most: AI is no longer a future skill—it’s a now skill. The ability to integrate these tools into daily work isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about staying ahead in an evolving landscape. I’m also proud to have earned a Certificate of Completion, but more importantly, I’ve gained clarity on how to leverage AI meaningfully in real-world scenarios. 💡 The future belongs to those who keep learning, experimenting, and adapting. 👉 Which AI tools have recently made the biggest impact on your work? Would love to hear your thoughts! #GenerativeAI #AIProductivity #Outskill #LearningNeverStops
